HISTORY

AFROIL is an oil marketing company established in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since October 2008. Major focus of business being importation, transportation and distribution of fuel products.

The company is fully owned by a Tanzanian family which aimed at providing better fuel supply services to the country. AFROIL has a retail network of more than 20 service stations providing employment opportunities to over 300 people. 

With recent acquisition of our terminal in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, we are able to efficiently provide services to our customers within Tanzania and to the neighbouring countries.

CERTIFICATION

ISO (9001:2015) and (45001:2018)

Afroil has achieved two ISO (International Standard Organization) certifications namely (9001:2015) for Quality Management and (45001:2018) for Occupational Safety and Health. 

A) ISO – 9001:2015 is a requirement for a quality management system which enables organizations to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide quality products and services.

 

B) ISO – 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, which gives guides to organizations to provide safe and healthy workplace.

AFROIL being ISO certified indicates that our company is committed towards meeting international, regional and local standards in serving our customers needs.
