Our Background

HISTORY.

AFROIL is an oil marketing company established in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since October 2008. Fully owned by a Tanzanian family that wished to provide better fuel supply services to the country led to the launch of the first AFROIL service station in Chalinze, Coast region and now providing services countrywide and in neighbouring countries.

ABOUT US.

The company has both wholesale and retail licenses, and is a founder member of the Petroleum Importation Coordinator (P.I.C. Ltd), a company formed by oil marketers in Tanzania to manage the bulk procurement of petroleum products.

OUR GROWTH.

Within the period of 13 years we have grown tremendously by expanding our network from one station to more than 20 stations across the country therefore increasing employment opportunities to Tanzanians from 2 to more than 300 employees.

OUR SERVICES

SERVICE STATIONS

We have modern service stations with a well-trained brand ambassadors to meet our customers’ needs. Our retail network has expanded over the years, from having one station to over 20 stations across the country.

TRANSPORT

We comprehensively equipped with a wide range of well- maintained transportation trucks and vehicles. The average age of our fleet is maintained at 3 years, new vehicles are purchased every 2 years.

STORAGE

Afroil has the capacity of storing 40 million litres. 28 million litres of AGO(Diesel) and 12 million litres of PMS(Petrol). Afroil has an operational gantry efficiency of loading 2.5million litres of mixed products within 8 hrs.

BULK SUPPLY

We offer on-site storage facilities to customers. With more than 100 trucks we efficiently deliver products to their site on time. Relatively, we provide training to our customer’s staff for them to effectively manage the sites.
